The parallelism of the grinding disc of the dual end face grinder needs to be calibrated through a combination of mechanical adjustment and process optimization. The specific steps are as follows:
一、Basic preparation
1、Horizontal correction
Use a high-precision level to check the overall levelness of the machine tool, adjust the anchor bolts to ensure that the foundation horizontal error is ≤ 0.02mm/m.
2、Cleaning inspection
Thoroughly remove residual particles on the surface of the grinding disc to avoid scratching the disc surface. It is recommended to use a rotating and shaking method combined with specialized cleaning solution for cleaning.
二、Mechanical adjustment (for the lower grinding disc)
1、Three group adjustment screw method
Loosen the fixing screws of the grinding disc and make fine adjustments using the three sets of adjusting screws (including locking nuts) at the bottom of the annular tray:
Single adjustment amplitude ≤ 1/4 turn
Use a dial gauge to check the parallelism after adjustment until the parallelism error between the upper and lower disks is ≤ 1 μ m.
2、Dynamic compensation technology
For the uneven wear caused by long-term use, convex surface dressing wheels and discs can be used to compensate for the flatness deviation caused by uneven wear.
三、Repair process
1、Diamond dressing wheel method
Install a benchmark plane electroplated diamond dressing wheel, dressing the grinding disc at a feed rate of 0.005-0.01mm/time, with a dressing time of 15 seconds to 3 minutes (1 minute for new discs).
2、Planetary gear repair method
Install the repair ring into the planetary gear, drive the repair ring to evenly repair the disc surface through the revolution of the planetary gear, and inject grinding fluid synchronously to improve the repair effect.
四、Validation and optimization
1、Measurement verification
Use a surface roughness meter to detect the surface after finishing, and the Ra value should be ≤ 0.1 μ m. Use a laser interferometer to detect the flatness.
2、Process parameter adjustment
The feed rate during the precision grinding stage is controlled within 0.03mm to avoid parallelism failure caused by excessive pressure.
Note: After calibration, it is necessary to run without load for 10 minutes to test the vibration. Abnormal vibration (amplitude>0.05mm) needs to be readjusted.
